Physical Appearance: Short for an elf, at 6'1", and about 160 lbs (more than average; mostly in muscle). Light blue hair (not unheard of for elves) at shoulder length, with pale skin. Wears facial hair in a thin, short goatee.
Always seen dressed with a stylish hat of various styles (the Sardonic Hat) and a green espagra scale cloak. Normally wears a suit of hardened leather armor. It is well maintained so as to fit well with his other clothes, but has obviously been used in numerous fights. He openly carries two swords: a broadsword with a sometimes glowing emerald embedded in the hilt, and a high quality short sword with a light quartz.
Dragon-Kin trait: Mawaris has continuously variable color eyes, slowly cycling through colors associated with the elements: Blue (for water), Green (earth), Red (fire), Brown (wood), Grey (air) (going in more or less that order). Normally they cycle over a few minutes, but may manifest a specific color (including other colors than those five) due to specific actions, such as casting an elemental based spell or using an elemental based talent, or due to particular emotions. They may glow at moments of particularly intense emotion or stress. Mawaris is not able to control the color of his eyes, except by use of Illusion magic to disguise them.

The plates interlock so they can be set up as a bankground.
When you hold up a plate and tap it with one side of the hammer, it stores a static image of whatever is behind the plate in the plate. If you tap it with the other side of the hammer, it will switch between plain bronze finish and displaying the stored image on the plate and every other attached plate (scaled to the number of plates that are connected. [So if you connect all the plates together, you can change the image displayed on the whole thing by tapping different plates]
Basically, this lets you store up to 16 images, and display them on a "screen" ranging from four square feet to 64 square feet (it's magical, of course, so you don't have to worry about distortion or screen ratio). The purpose is clearly to be used as a background for artistic performances, and use of the screen gives a +1 bonus to performance checks.
