I'll also burn 2 street cred to drop notoriety. I've already burned 2 to drop 1. I figure the first notoriety gotten rid of was for bad luck. [on the grounds that I've had enough success to lose the rep for bad luck]. The second one will be for spirits. Clearly I've accomplished runs in the face of spirits. In My opinion.
My long term plan is to also reduce notoriety a third time [Gremlins], once I successfully use a laser pistol on a run :-p. IF I ever successfully do so.
My long, long term plan is basically only work to reduce notoriety if it wasn't justified in the first place. I.e., I get blamed for something I didn't do or that is misunderstood [I killed ghouls because they were attacking some woman on the street, but someone spreads a rumour I'm just a violent hot head, gm determines notoriety goes up by one, if I then earn 20 Karma successfully defeating evil heroicaly, I figure that would justify spending down that notoriety because the good rumours support my side of the story and the truth.
On the other hand, if it's something Antonio would do again, or did by conscious choice, I wouldn't try to eliminate that notoriety. For example, Antonio feels that the media is ABSOLUTELY a valid weapon against public entities. I.e., making the mayor look bad for trying to intimidate your grandma into selling her house to the city, is totally legit in Antonio's mind. That's the way protestors and anarchists have been fighting perceived corruption for centuries! With bad press. If running a public relations campaign to counter the church's public relations campaign earns antonio notoriety, he's not going to spend that down, cause he's proud of that notoriety, he was doing the right thing - - seeking the a non-violent solution that also happens to promote justice.
[It's also not revealing runners. Calling the media on a Fixer who betrayed you=absolute no-no, Antonio totally agrees. Calling the media on aztechnology when you discover that they're kidnapping children for experiments? Absolutely acceptable to Antonio. ]

This is the topic where I will update characters' rep scores. I'll update the top thread so its easier to find. Does the calculation change after 100 Karma? Antonio: 124 Karma, 7 street cred, 4 cred spent to lower rep Max: 113 K, 5 cred, 6 spent to lower notoriety Kaz: 121, 9 cred, 2 spent (I think) to lower notoriety, Kurt: 121, 7 cred, 4 spent to lower notoriety ( think) It looks like everyone's cred might be 1 point low (not updated) unless the calculation changes after 110. (Except Max's, which looks right.) And I will spend 2 cred to lower notoriety by 1 in "preparation for" the ritual, whenever we get around to doing it. So I have a notoriety of 0 prior to the ritual, to help make it "stick" better.

The calculation didn't change. Its /10, I added 1 street cred to everyone (the 5 rounds up). So, the 12 karma earned was 1 street cred. Kaz had 8, Hax0r had 6, Max had 6 (+1-2), and Ant had 6.

So I've earned 12, Spent 4, and have 7 - where did the extra one go? I don't know of any way to burn a single point of street cred. Maybe you forgot to update street cred after the second to last session?
It's burn 2 street cred to lower notoriety by 1, right?
So it looks like Antonio should have 8 now (8+4=12=124/10); Kaz should have 10 (10+2=12=121/10), Max should have 5 (5+6=11=113/10) and Kurt should have 8 (8+4=12=121/10)
